We are delighted to announce the 14th KEPAF'2023 conference to be held in the picturesque city of Gyula, Pearl of the southern Great Plain, offering a secluded place for scientific exchange and for gathering historical and culinary experiences. The conference will take place in the immediate surrounding of the historic castle, the Almásy Mansion and the thermal bath.
The primary goal of the conference is to give an overview of the main results of the past 2 years achieved by the Hungarian image processing community and to provide a common interface for scientists working in different subfields. The bi-annual meeting of the Hungarian Association for Image Processing and Pattern Recognition will be held during the conference where new members of the KÉPAF Governing Board will be elected. A valid NJSZT membership card is required for voting.
The Attila Kuba Prize will be awarded to a young scientist authoring the best paper to be selected among the KEPAF contributions by the ad hoc Attila Kuba Prize Committee. The conference will also host the PhD Prize, which is awarded to a selected postgraduate-level researcher with outstanding research achievements.
